Chapter 11 - The Tamed Beast

The grand ballroom of the Drake Hotel was filled once again, but this time, there were no masks, no hidden weapons, and no tension. The room was decorated in pure white roses and gold silk.
Arthur Brooks stood proudly in a tailored suit, a healthy color back in his cheeks, watching his daughter with tears in his eyes.
Sienna stood at the altar, her white lace gown trailing behind her like a cloud.
Dawson stood opposite her. His knuckles were smooth, his posture relaxed, his dark eyes fixed entirely on her as if she were the only person in the universe. When he took her hands to recite his vows, his voice was steady and filled with absolute devotion.
"I spent my entire life looking for a fight," Dawson said, a small, beautiful smile on his lips. "I thought the only way to survive was to break everything around me. Until you walked into my world with an ice bucket and a look that told me you weren't afraid of the dark. You broke my pride, you broke my heart, and then you rebuilt me into a man worthy of your love. I am yours, Sienna. Forever."
Sienna wiped a tear from her cheek, her heart bursting with a joy she had never thought possible. "I love you, Dawson. Monster, CEO, or husband—I'm not going anywhere."
