Chapter 10 - The Grand Feast of Legacy

One year after the truth was revealed, a family party was held once again at the Grand Oak Plaza. But this time, the vibe was completely different.

There were no stuffy politicians, no fake high-society smiles, and no security guards keeping the less fortunate away. Instead, the main ballroom was filled with the employees of Williams Enterprises, the families from the Northside Renewal Project, old friends, and neighbors who had helped Catherine when she was at her lowest.

The tables were piled high with gourmet food, fresh fruit, and an abundance of sweet bread from the best bakeries in the city.

Victor stood at the podium, looking out at the diverse, joyful crowd. He was wearing a simple suit, no expensive watch, no armor of arrogance. Beside him stood Catherine, stunning in an elegant emerald green dress, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

"Thank you all for being here tonight," Victor said into the microphone, his voice echoing with genuine warmth. "One year ago, in this very hotel, my life was shattered—and then, it was saved. I learned that true wealth isn't measured by the balance in a bank account, or the height of a skyscraper, or the exclusivity of a guest list. True wealth is the family that stands by you, the truth that sets you free, and the love that refuses to die."

He looked down at Annie, who was sitting at the front table, happily eating a piece of sweet bread, laughing with her friends from Northside.

"Tonight, we celebrate not a birthday, and not a corporate victory," Victor continued, taking Catherine's hand. "We celebrate a legacy of love, resilience, and second chances. To family."

"To family!" the entire ballroom shouted in unison, raising their glasses in a joyous toast.

As the music started and people began to dance, Victor pulled Catherine close, spinning her slowly on the dance floor. Annie ran over, squeezing herself between them, her small hands holding onto both of theirs.

The music swirled around them, filled with laughter and love. The past was forgiven, the justice was served, and the future belonged entirely to them. The Williams family was finally home, and their love was an empire that nothing could ever destroy.
