Raina stood on the porch, watching them. She felt a presence behind her. Desmond wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her back against his chest. He was no longer the unfeeling mafia boss; the lines of stress around his eyes had faded.
"Are you happy?" he asked, pressing a kiss to her temple.
