The calm of the Hail estate shattered on the fifth night. A black SUV barreled through the front gate, smashing through the iron bars that Kora had been so careful to guard.
Gunfire ripped through the quiet night. Raina grabbed Teddy, diving under the heavy oak desk in the study. She could hear Desmond barking orders, his voice echoing through the mansion like a commander at war.
