Chapter 6: The Final Verdict

Chaos erupted. The press had cameras snapping, the flashbulbs blinding everyone in the room. Ryan sprinted toward her, his face a contorted mask of panic and rage. "What have you done?" he hissed, grabbing her arm.

Elias stepped from the shadows behind them, flanked by legal counsel. "He hasn't done anything yet, Mr. Montgomery," Elias said, his voice cold. "But he is about to. We have the proof of your fraudulent transfer of assets, the documentation of your hidden offshore accounts, and the DNA evidence confirming that these three are your only biological children."

The "discarded" wife had become the executioner. The guests watched as the reality settled: Ryan had not only lost his wife, but he had lost his business, his reputation, and his freedom. As the police arrived—not for Madeline, but for the man who had committed massive financial fraud—the bride fled, leaving Ryan standing alone in a room full of people who were now filming his downfall.

Madeline knelt before her children, shielding them from the sight of their father being led away in handcuffs. She looked up at the broken man. "You wanted a legacy, Ryan," she whispered, loud enough for the reporters to catch. "But you were too busy looking for it in the wrong places to realize you were throwing it away."

As she walked out of the ballroom, the crowd parted for her. She stepped out into the night, the cool air feeling like victory. The nightmare was over. She was a mother, a titan in her own right, and a woman who had reclaimed her future. She drove away with her children, leaving the wreckage of the Montgomery mansion behind—not as a victim, but as a queen who had finally taken her throne.
