Chapter 10 - The Heirs of Kade

Six months later.
The summer sun shone bright over the emerald lawns of the Lake Forest estate. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming roses, fresh-cut grass, and the sound of children laughing near the swimming pool.
A long white canopy had been set up under the shade of two massive oak trees.
Gathered beneath it were seventy guests—not mob bosses or armed guards, but legitimate business partners, domestic staff, Mrs. Gable, Arthur and Eleanor Miller (Wren’s long-lost distant relatives whom Weston’s team had tracked down to give her real family), and the close friends who had stood by them.
At the altar under the oak trees stood Weston Kade.
He wore a tailored black tuxedo with a white rose pinned to his lapel. Beside him as his best man was Viktor, looking unusually sharp in his formal dress uniform.
The music began—a soft, beautiful arrangement of strings.
Walking down the white aisle were the flower girl and ring bearers.
Leo and Sam wore matching mini-tuxedos with tiny black bowties, walking solemnly side by side while holding a velvet pillow carrying the wedding rings. Beside them was Maya, wearing a fluffy white lace dress, scattering yellow rose petals from a small woven basket with pure delight.
And then came Wren.
She walked down the aisle on the arm of her uncle Arthur. Her dress was a masterpiece of simple silk and delicate lace, trailing behind her on the grass. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and her brown eyes shone with an inner peace that no hardship could ever take away again.
Weston’s breath hitched as he watched her approach.
When she reached the altar, Arthur placed her hand in Weston’s. Her skin was warm, soft, and steady.
"You look beautiful," Weston whispered, his gray eyes shining with fierce, deep devotion.
"You look like a happy man," she replied with a gentle smile.
"I'm the richest man alive," he whispered back.
The vows were simple, spoken under the open sky, free of the dark shadows that had once threatened to tear them apart. Don Marchetti was sitting in a federal penitentiary serving a thirty-year sentence; the Marchetti syndicate had been dissolved, and Weston had systematically transitioned the Kade family assets into fully legal, high-yield corporate development funds.
The blood money was gone. The empire was clean.
"I pronounce you husband and wife," the minister declared. "You may kiss the bride."
Weston didn't hesitate. He pulled Wren into his arms, dipping her back slightly as he kissed her deeply, long and full, while the entire lawn erupted into cheers and applause.
Leo, Maya, and Sam immediately rushed up the altar steps, throwing their arms around their parents' legs.
"Group hug!" Sam yelled at the top of his lungs.
Weston laughed—a rich, full sound that echoed across his estate—and dropped to his knees, gathering his wife and his three children into one massive, unbroken circle.

The secret was gone. The hunt was over.
The family had found its home, and their future was written in light.
