Chapter 5 - The Confrontation at the Manor

The night of the confrontation arrives. Michael and Cassandra walk into the Whitaker home expecting a check, but instead find Robert sitting behind his desk with a thick leather folder. Cassandra attempts to take control of the room with sharp insults, but Robert simply opens his laptop and plays the unedited footage from The Hawthorne Estate. The silence in the room is absolute. Michael gasps, trying to stammer excuses about Ellen "instigating" the argument. Cassandra turns white, then immediately shifts to defense mode, threatening legal action for illegal recording. Robert coldly informs them that the venue provided it legally, and that their financial safety net is officially severed.
